- An entrepreneur, looking to start a new business.
- Someone with a new concept a brilliant idea or scheme.
- Anyone who is having difficulty finding finance.
- A property speculator looking for the next best deal.
- Those looking to share in the success of others' concepts.
- Anyone looking to back a ground-floor opportunity.
- Inventors, Designers, Developers, Writers and Pioneers.
Did you know: Britain is the most innovative nation on the planet.
50% of all inventions since the WWII have originated in the UK (25% from the USA and only 5% from Japan).
Napoleon Bonaparte was wrong: we are not a nation of shopkeepers, but a nation of entrepreneurs. (That’s actually what he meant, but as GW Bush observed: the French just don’t have a word for it.)
Start-up companies are where the big money is made. There’s a reason why the Dragons are so wealthy. Those who were ‘in’ at the ground floor stage of firms like The Body Shop, Pizza Express, Skype, Betfair, LoveFilm, LastMinute.com have made massive fortunes from small investments.

Formerly such opportunities were only available to insiders, mates, those ‘in the know’ and banks. But then the banks went bust. Which has opened up a huge opportunity for ordinary people, like me and you; as confirmed by The Sunday Times on August 30th.
My name is Jonathan Willis and I like to make money at the expense of other people’s time, enterprise, creativity and hard work. I find it a lot easier than working for a living.
What I do is provide seed capital for start-up companies. I’ve got hundreds of businesses off the ground. Many of those are now thriving firms. Many are national names, some continental, and a few global.
That’s what my company, The Ideas Factory, does: filter and source truly extraordinary investment opportunities at ground floor stage. Some present business plans as thick as a phone book, whereas others are little more than the scratchings on the back of a fag packet. But they all have one thing in common: vast potential.
Past opportunities include …
We funded the current smash-hit West End theatrical production The Railway Children, playing to packed houses at the old Eurostar terminal, Waterloo. Investors are very happy to hear that it’s already on an extended run. Some of them actually took part in the show! A touch more serious and corporate, a Chester-based financial services venture with a unique and original product secured full funding from Ideas Factory members within 24 hours.
As did a social networking website venture that’s set to rival Facebook, but which parents will actually approve of.
343 of our members registered for a trading services company that has a 6-year track record of paying profits of 10% pcm (that’s a month, not a year).
Members raised £375,000 for pre-production of a Hollywood movie (based on a British character), and then a further £10m to underwrite the film itself. George Clooney, Michael Doulgas and Al Pacino are all interested, and investors get to meet them!
We sold 286,000 copies of a client’s book, in 6 months.
We were approached by an ex-MI6 spy, the real-life ‘Q’ from James Bond, who, at 84, is still inventing. Now he’s got a factory in northern England, all funded by members.
Over the last 20 years we estimate to have encouraged 7,000 people to set up their own businesses, and assisted over 60,000 people to become independently financially secure, but ... ... you’ve missed all those opportunities, I’m afraid. Apologies for not having emailed you earlier.
However, here’s a smattering of proposals we currently have on our books, and they’re just as wonderful:
A new British movie starring Danny Dyer that's just about ready-to-go.
A niche website already proven to work that taps into the £2 billion equine leisure market.
A brilliant brand new science-based media concept presented by a famous TV personality.
A Deep Packet Inspection Company (read our newsletter to find out what that means), which people are falling over themselves to invest in.
A why-didn’t-I-think-of-it new Music Festival for South London. D’oh!
A worldwide talent showcase platform estimating subscriptions of £16m a year.
An online soap opera - the world's first!
The internet's first real treasure hunt.
An educational games company.
A tested and thriving company supplying original nutritional and health drinks for children.
Make no mistake, these are all remarkable ideas, proposed by remarkable people - professors, academics, professionals, management teams, motivated individuals - all inventors, creatives and inspired originators in their own right. And all they need is some cash to get going. Your cash. And in return they’ll cut you into a healthy slice of the action.
And we, The Ideas Factory, have just produced what others have called “An unusually brilliant new newsletter.” They go on to say: “We see a lot of reading material and company publications, but this is different: captivating from start to finish. Unique, modern, ergonomic, a proper multi-media experience.”
It really is full of fascinating stuff. The issue that’s now out covers August and September, so all the content is totally relevant. And it’s free for all our members. And to become a member is also free. (Gosh, this isn’t much of a hard sell, is it.)
Register below now and receive a FREE copy of the latest edition of our Newsletter and an Informative ebook!
But our newsletter contains much more than that. This particular issue includes not only an exclusive selection of totally fascinating investment start-ups, as you would expect, but also some pretty amazing property deals too: half-price villas in Spain, and only £5,000 down for stunning Algarve apartments. Unique opportunities.
But even that’s not all. There are also articles, support and advice exclusively created for us by foremost experts in their field (Memery Crystal, Incisive Edge, John Piper - we’re aligned to a lot of serious players).
Indeed, what more interesting material could you possibly wish to read? It’s informative, entertaining, a bit quirky, always pertinent, not at all flabby, presented beautifully, and at all times lucrative.
Honestly, if you’re still on holiday (and why not), it's literature that's way more engrossing and compulsive than thumbing through the latest Tom Clancy on the beach, or fingering a Trollope by the pool.
Here’s what our readers are saying:
"Brilliant digital newsletter. Beautifully presented, very ergonomic and packed with seriously fascinating British start-up business opportunities. It's just like being on the panel of Dragons' Den. I'm in!" Kenneth Salmon, Shrewsbury
"How on earth do you manage to conjure up so many exciting and potentially rewarding opportunities within the space of just a few weeks? I have already made one investment and I am extremely happy with the way things are going." Geoff Diamond, Manchester
"Thanks for your highly informative update. I am not aware that a service like this exists anywhere else, so let me complement you on your refreshing and unique approach. I am very interested in iOptec. Have i missed the boat on that one?" Jane Harvey, Hants
"Quite outstanding! That's all I can say, really - I have never before been given the opportunity to become involved with such a wide variety of companies at such an early stage of their evolution. Your newsletter allows me to buy a ticket to join the bandwagon before the crowd even get to find out it exists!"
Inside The Ideas Factory Newsletter (which you can download today, for free) you will find proper Dragons’ Den-style ground floor start-up opportunities; all British inventions that you’ll love. We’ve never been more able to present so much engrossing material packed within 35 pages. But we’re in a recession and the banks have shut their doors, so it’s no more than you would expect.
“Loving your work, guys! I am always excited to receive an email about the next unique and rare opportunity that The Ideas Factory is offering. We love the idea of being able to invest into Danny Dyer’s new film, 7 Lives. Where else can a couple like us get the chance to be a part of the movie world! Keep up the good work.” Karla Lamont, Edinburgh
“I have been to two of your live events now and love the set up; it is designed for small investors like me.” P Hawkins, Basildon
“How refreshing to be a part of such a fun and unique approach to funding start-ups. I read your newsletter with great interest and was very impressed by the variety of opportunities you have put forward. I can’t wait for the next edition!” Joseph Peters, Aberdeen
Did I mention that it’s free? (And did I underscore that?)
But there’s more ...
Not only can you claim a free copy of our most recent newsletter, BUT ... we’ll also send you a free invite to our next ‘live‘ event.
The Ideas Factory holds Pitch & Network Evenings. We meet every six weeks at a central London venue (also soon to start in the north of England). New concepts are presented and analysed (very much like Dragons’ Den), inventions demonstrated, ideas exchanged and discussed, working partnerships formed, products traded and introductions to financiers made. It’s a perfect way to mix business with pleasure, comfortably, conveniently and profitably. Further, through networking sessions before, during and after, members collaborate and cooperate to share information and join forces to meet entrepreneurs’ needs, including their own. The Ideas Factory really is the “incubator of enterprise”.
So, we’ll send you a free invite to that, too.
Incidentally, The Ideas Factory is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. Our database has doubled in just the last 4 months. 35,000 people have now joined us and are happy with what they receive (you can unsubscribe at any time – we follow email broadcast best practice, so have no worries). A TV documentary is being made about us, and we’ve even got a movie in pre-production based on our endeavours.
